Four engravings from the series of 35 dep. the acts of the Apostles, each approx. 20 x 27 cm. Two after Maarten van Heemskerck (1498-1574) (numbered 8 and 10) and two after Jan van der Straet (1523-1605) (numbered 21 and 28), all under simple passe-partout. All w. central veritical fold, sl. browning and a few tiny wormholes. (5-14) Martin Engelbrecht (1684-1756). Ten handcol. engr. bible prints, all w. address of Engelbrecht in Augsburg, each approx. 20 x 29.5 cm and under passe-partout. Rather crude, but apparently contemp. hand-colouring, some oblique folds, creases and other sm. imperfections. Comprises engravings dep. the 2nd-6th days of the Creation of the World, the transportation of the Arc of the Covenant, Daniel in the lion's pit, Daniel's dream of the Four Monarchs and 2 scenes from the Book of Esther.
