Stunning folio (47 x 35 cm) screw-bound Art Deco wallpaper sample book, intended to celebrate the designs of Dutch wallpaper artists, 1926. For this collaboration contributions of six Dutch designers were offered: M.A.H. van de Burg, Roelof Gerbrands, J.B. Heukelom, Albert Klijn, W. Retera Wzn and Dirk Verstraten. Next to these designers a contest for designers was organised (assessed by a council consisting of artists such as Lion Cachet and R.N. Roland Holst). Works by winning (of 660 submitted designs) designers Sikko vd Woude, C. Mus Hzn and M.A.H. vd Burg were added. Preface (sl. dam. to the left margin) L. Goudsmit.
