Wiegers, Jan (1893-1959). Cabaret

Early expressionist work by Wiegers, one of the founders of the Groningen artists' group De Ploeg. Closely related in style to the work of the German group 'Die Brücke', whose influence he absorbed through his friendschip with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.
