Engraving, after Adam Elsheimer, (1610). 29.2 x 24 cm, mounted at the upper corners under passe-partout. Without the text below the image, the other margins trimmed to the plate mark, sm. wormhole, smoothed out folds and verso w. stain (not visible on recto). Despite the defects, a very impressive print and a very fine impression with much contrast (compare this copy with the other one in this auction, with the text) (= Hollstein 5, only state known). W. coll. stamp of Jan Frederik Bianchi (1878-1963) on verso. -and 7 others, all on w. classical antiquity: anonymous engraving dep. Bacchus drinking wine (October) and a series of 6 prints "Ordonnances des tableaux a mettre devant les geminées" by Arnold Houbraken, dep. satyrs and nymphs, Venus and Cupid.
