behind them a peasant standing. Etching, 15.5 x 12.7 cm, signed "NVHaeften. in. f." and dated 1695 in the plate, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Good impression and margins. Some tiny holes along the plate mark. Pieces of former mount in left and top margin on verso (visible on recto). Hollstein 27, 2nd and final state. Rare. (2) Vliet, J. Gillisz. van (1600 to 1610-1668). The card players. Etching, 16.2 x 13 cm, signed "JG van Vliet fc." in the plate, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Fine impression, narrow margins. Sm. repairs in upper margin, pieces of tape from former mount at left corners verso. Hollstein 51, 2nd state (of 4). D. Teniers (II) (1610-1690). Two smoking farmers near the fire. Etching, 7 x 6 cm, monogrammed "DT. in. et excud. cum privileg" in the plate, mounted at upper margin under passe-partout. Good impression, narrow margins. From the series Hollstein 20-23, 2nd and final state. A very charming and rare little print. - and an etching by C. Dusart (1660-1704) dep. a drunk couple, finished w. grey watercolour and the borderline and the plate mark accentuated in black ink (Hollstein 7, only state).
