Collection Rob van Eyck. Matena created a series of drawings of various comic greats commissioned by van Eyck. This work demonstrates his mastery of drawing. Like many visitors to van Eyck's house, we had to look twice before attributing these pages, entirely drawn in the style of various artists, to Matena.
