Twelve engravings from a series of 21 (excl. the title), each approximately 10.5 x 9 cm, after Maerten de Vos (I) (1531-1603), all with the signatures of De Weert and De Vos in the plate; eight w. the address of Johannes Baptist Vrints (I) (first states) and four with that of Johannes Collaert (prints 1, 2, 14 and 18, second states). Numb. 1, 2, 5-8, 10 and 14-18 in the plates, all w. 2- or 3-line Latin verse below the image, mounted at upper corners under 2 passe-partouts. Fine impressions, the prints from the edition Vrints w. good margins, those from the edition Collaert trimmed to/ near the plate mark. Occas. sl. foxing.
