Dürer, A. (1471-1528). Two woodcuts: (1) The adoration of the Magi
Woodcut, 29.5 x 22 cm (leaf w. sl. uneven edges measuring approx. 36 x 26.2 cm), monogrammed and dated 1511 in the block, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. A good impression on paper w. watermark of double-headed crowned eagle w. 5-petal flower (ca. 1600). Browned, a few minuscule holes, red chalk lines in blank lower left corner. Meder 208. -and 1 smaller woodcut (Noli me tangere) by the same.
