Etching, 23 x 31 cm, after Paul Bril (1553/54-1626), signed "P. Bril Inventor", "Nieulant fecit" and w. address "Cum privilege regis A. Bon enfant excu." (Goetkint, d. 1644) in the plate below the image, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Very fine impression, ample margins. Tiny wormhole in blank upper r. corner, a few smoothed-out folds. From the series Hollstein (Van Nieulandt) 76-111 and Hollstein (Bril) 18-47, second state (of 5). -and 1 similar by and after the same and published by the same (Hollstein 98, third state (of 5), evenly yellowed, trimmed on the plate mark).
