Hollstein 8, first state (of 2). Prints by Van Laer are rather rare. (2) A. van de Velde (1636-1672). Resting goats. Etching, 11 x 13.2 cm, signed "A.v.Velde f." in upper r. corner, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Very good impression on fine paper w. watermark of coat of arms of Amsterdam, trimmed to the plate mark. Verso w. collectors' stamps of Ernst Theodor Rodenacker (ca. 1840-after 1894) (Lugt 2438), J.E. Wetterauer (Lugt 3870) and 1 unidentified (not in Lugt). Hollstein 10, only state.
