Etched title and 10 (of 11) plates, all ca. 12 x 19 cm, numb. 1-11, the first signed "Jan van den Velde fecit", w. address "Claes Iansz Visscher excudebat anno 1616" in cartouche, mounted at upper corners under passe-partouts. All very good contemp. impressions on fine paper, w. occas. unidentified watermarks, w. ample margins. Number 7 w. part of left blank margin reattached. Occas. unobtrusive marg. wrinkles/ stains. A very good set, only lacking the final etching. Hollstein 256, second state (of 4), Hollstein 257-266, first state (of 2). Eleven fine prints (incl. the title) from the third series of 5 series by Van de Velde, each consisting of 12 plates.
