from a series of twenty dep. the life of Mary, all ca. 9 x 6.5 cm, numb. 1, 2, 5, 6, 8-10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 18 in lower left corner, mounted at upper corners under 4 passepartouts. Good impressions on the entire lvs measuring ca. 14.5 x 10.2 cm. Very delicate little prints, all w. a fine border around the central scene, w. flowers, butterflies and other insects. (13-15) Idem. Three engravings dep. scenes from the life of Catherine, all 9 x 6.5 cm, numb. 4, 9 and 12 in lower margin, mounted at upper corners under 1 passepartout (on entire lvs from the same booklet as the preceding, some sl. foxing, 12 w. waterst.). -and 11 prints from the series Solitudo, sive vitae foeminarum anachoritarum (...) after Maerten de Vos (I) (1531/32-1603) (see complete sets in this auction), very fine impressions w. much contrast, all in 1st state (of 3).
