Set of 8 (of 11) anonymous engravings, all ca. 22 x 28 cm, by or attributed to Jan Collaert (I) (1525/30-1580), the 5th plate monogrammed "H.C.F." in lower r. corner and w. address "G. de Jode" in lower l. corner (the address also in plate 6), all w. 1-line Latin text below the image, mounted at upper corners under passepartouts. All good impressions, trimmed on/ near the plate mark on fine paper w. (traces of) watermarks (incl. fleur de lys in crowned shield. The 7th print vaguely waterst. in lower l. corner and w. sm. closed tears in lower margin, final print restored in lower r. corner, occas. minor other imperfections. A good, large set.
