Selle-Eysler, Berlin, ca. 1926. 4to, 16 p. Promotional flyer for the cabaret of Jasha Jushny, exil-Rus, whose theater cabaret became legendary in Berlin. With 10 tipped-in reproductions of Prof. E. Stern, W. Nowikow and Klement and others, and a photo of Jushny.

4to. Unpaginated (16pp). Original wraps illustrated in color, protected by modern mylar. Der blaue Vogel (The blue bird) was founded by the exile-Russian Jasha Jushny. In the early 1920's Jushny's Russian émigré theatre-cabaret was legendary in Berlin. Rare promotional brochure with a little bit of the history of the "Kleinkunstheater" as well as a list of the repertoire, verse translated from the Russian, etc. Illustrated with 6 reproductions of drawings in color of costume- and set-designs by Prof. E. Stern, W. Nowikow, Klement. Also with 3 photographic b/w reproductions of productions held at the Theater, as well as a portrait of Jushny, all plates tipped-in. One plate creased (that plate loose), minor staining on back wrapper. 4 advertisement pages, relating to the Theater, in rear. Text in German.
