[Gastronomy] Four Dutch language manuscript recipe books
First half 20th cent., written in var. hands, w. num. loosely inserted handwritten recipes or printed clippings (and some other related inserts), bound in hcl. (3x, 4to) and in a Soennecken leather ringbinder, 8vo. All in used condition. Nice collection, the recipes in the ringbinder are all monogrammed "H.K.", incl. "Potagie van knollen met eendvogels", "Potagie van kikvorschen" ("Neemt kickers, snijdse de pooten af, en scheurt het vlees van de billen, en breektse, de grootste bewaar je om te fruiten (...))", "Kapoen op vuurkolen", "Aangename kuikens (Mignons)", "Patrijzen op zijn Meester Lucas" and "Schaapsribbetjens (Cotelettes)." The other booklets contain recipes like "Inmaak aalbessengelei", "Kaascroquetten", "Sinaasapp. limonade", "Witte saus voor visch", "Chaudfroid van eend", "Blikstaart", "Oorlogspudding", "Oorlogscake", "Paprika schotel" and "Hazen Pastei".
