[World War I] German soldier's souvenir album 1915-1918

Comprising approx. 100 orig. photographs and picture postcards, w. captions in white pen. Orig. cl., obl. 8vo. Some photographs apparently replaced. Upper inner hinge broken. With dedication by Otto Schlosser in pen on the upper pastedown to his girlfriend Anna Jobst on the occasion of her birthday, dated 17 October 1911.

Interesting album, containing numerous photographs relating to German military expeditions as well as views of ruined cities such as Ham and Noyon in France. Captions include: "Zeppelin-Halle Hamburg-Fluhlsbüttel", 1915; "In der alten Kaserne Bahrenfeld ", 1916; Weihnachten im Unterstand", "Nowo-Alexandrowsk", "Gefangene Russen", "Onkel Emil in Franz. Gefangenschaft. 1915", "Auf dem Vormarsch in Russland. 1916"; ("Schlachtfeld") and "Ein Heldengrab im fernen Osten".
