Drawing in pen and brown ink and brown wash, 17 x 28.6 cm, after Léon de Laborde (1807-1869), signed "V. Adam" and date 1829 in lower left corner. Mounted at upper margin under passe-partout. W. a sl. browned square in the middle and remnants of a former mount at all margins verso. The composition appeared (w. sl. differences) in lithography in the same direction in 1839, indicating De Laborde as the original artist and Victor Adam as lithographer, under the title "Vue de la Forteresse de l'Accaba/ View of the Fortress of Accaba", published by Engelmann, Paris.
