Brumes Blondes No. 2 and No. 4

Early issues of the first series of the sole Surrealist periodical in The Netherlands, seven numbers were published between 1964-1967. Edited by Her de Vries and Laurens Vancrevel and published in a small edition by Bureau de Recherches Surréalistes in Amsterdam. Text mostly Dutch with some French.

(1) No. 2 Autumn 1964. Handmade black wrapper with original collage, stapled, 28 x 22 cm, 22 pp. Stencilled on white and pink paper. Very good copy. (2) No. 4 August 1966. Staplebound, 22 x 14 cm, 52 pp. Extensive inventory of publications about Surrealism in The Netherlands. Dark red paper; wrapper toned and frayed around edges. Interior in very good condition.
