(1) Hat-shaped card, 9.6 x 15.7 cm. Announcement for the exhibition Schachspiele, Spiele und Bücher (Chess, Games and Books), held from 23 June - 28 July 1989 at Harlekin Art, Wiesbaden. Signed 'Takako' in the lower right. Mailed and postmarked copy.
(2) Takako Saito, Blaues Regenbogen-Wein-Schachspiel/ Ess Schachspiel. Cologne, Edition Hundertmark, 1982. Edition of 500. Cardboard folder, 21.5 x 15 cm, with 2 folded sheets, 59 x 59 cm, each containing a chess board design and game instructions in German. In the 'blue-rainbow-wine' set, red and white wine glasses serve as chess pieces; the other set is played with various food items such as cheese, salad, ham. Light spotting to interior of the folder; sheets in good condition. Fluxus artist Takako Saito (1929-2025) is known for her performances and works rooted in everyday life and the joy of play, including her radical chess sets.
