Contemp. mottled calf, gilt and ribbed spine w. mor. letterpiece, gilt turn-ins, obl. 4to. Occas. browned/ foxed, library stamp scratched away from title-p., occas. other internal imperfections. Joints split(ting), headcap lacking, corners bumped/ showing. In all, an attractive copy, w. old owner's entry "Aux Augustins du Quartier St. Germain des Prés, Paris" and shelf number on title-p. and on page 6. Furthermore w. annotation "Vente Cte. (...) Tabarie en fevr. 1731" (?) on upper pastedown.
