Doesburg, Theo van (1883-1931)/ Schwitters, Kurt (1887-1948). Program Kleine Dada Soirée

The Hague, 1922. Offset lithograph on paper printed in black and red, 30 x 30 cm. Programme for the iconic Dada tour by Theo and Nelly van Doesburg, Kurt Schwitters and Vilmos Huszár in The Netherlands (Dec. 1922-early 1923). In Dadaist typography, listing ragtime music by Erik Satie, abstract poetry by Schwitters, and 'Dadasofie' by van Doesburg, interspersed with multilingual slogans, such as 'Dada est contre le futur, Dada est mort, Dada est idiot, vive Dada!'.

First version for the event at the Haagsche Kunstkring, The Hague, with address and year at upper right. Folded (eight parts), with rests on verso from two folds, small abrasion to the central fold, and two small chips (a few mm) to the outer right corners, else a good copy.
