Handwritten in felt-tipped pen 'No. 7 voor Frits Müller van Bart Huges'. Well-preserved copy.

Rare publication. Dutch edition (other variants exist in English and German translation). *In this text, Huges claims that trepanning - drilling a hole in one's skull - will have a positive (i.e. mind-expanding) effect on the brain by improving the balance of bodily fluids in the brain and the spinal cord. On 6 January 1965 he famously drilled a hole in his own forehead, an act that brought him instant notoriety.
