Hermann Nitsch. Large collection of Action posters and documents

Includes 11 posters announcing actions and exhibitions of Das Orgien Mysterien Theater Actions, and 12 cards and leaflets. Hermann Nitsch (1938-2022), founder of Viennese Actionism, was known for his visceral performance art practice. (1-12) Among the cards and leaflets are an announcement for a slide lecture at Douglass College New Brunswick NJ on Oct. 8 1970, followed by a ritual performance with a skinned lamb at College Farm Road, and a folding card by Galleria LP 220 Turin from 1973.
