(large folio). Poor copy, the title dam. and crudely restored, a number of lvs w. sm. tears/ sl. dam./ w. stains in blank margins (in a few lvs affecting the image, some crude restorations). Sold w.a.f. Despite the defects, a very impressive publication, of which the lvs attachable to each other to form one very large wall plate, incorporating 15 synoptic tables illustrated w. sm. medallion portraits of the French kings, views of Versailles, Paris, the Hôtel royal des Invalides and miniature plans of 101 French fortified cities and their coats of arms in 202 round medallions.
