Complete set of 16 engravings, all 51 x 38 cm, after Bernardinus Passeri, all consisting of a large central image surrounded by 16 smaller images dep. their acts (the plate dep. Christ also w. the 4 Evangelists, a title-cartouche, a coat of arms and dedication to cardinal Giacomo Sannesio), all plates signed "Ioannes Orlandi formis" and dated Rome, 1602 in the plate, the first signed "Bernardinus Passerus romanus inventor" in the plate. Good impressions, all trimmed inside the plate mark, all mounted. Occas. stains, creases and other sm. imperfections. Extremely rare complete set, and we could not even trace images of single prints from our series.
