[Geertruidenberg] Manuscript map of Geertruidenberg and surroundings
Pen and ink and watercolour, 68 x 115 cm, on three joined sheets of very thin, semitranslucent. Yellow wove paper, with linear scale w. date 1812, but probably of a later date. An attractive manuscript map in remarkably good condition considering the size and thinness of the paper. Two similar large manuscript maps on comparable paper in this auction (Venlo and Roermond) bear the watermark of Lacourade (with a scallop as countermark).
