The Clash fanzine. London's Burning No. 1, 1976
Scarce zine 'by a Clash fan for Clash fans', produced by John Ingham, named after the band's song from their debut album. First and only edition. Comprises fourteen A4 xeroxed sheets printed recto only, stapled in upper left corner, with collaged photomontages and texts relating to The Clash and the general British Punk scene. Rear sheet has a distributor's sticker of Rough Trade, London. Very good copy.
Music journalist John Ingham documented the punk movement at a very early stage, he conducted the first interview with the Sex Pistols, and wrote the first review of The Clash.
