SKG. Terrorist Congress in Paradiso Amsterdam, 20 Dec. 1980
Zine, consisting of stapled sheets of various sizes, 43 x 21.5 cm, 20 pp. Features a striking stencilled cover by Ivar Vics, aka graffiti-artist Dr. Rat, promoting the 'total environment' organized by the anarcho-Punk artist group SKG (Stads Kunst Guerilla), led by Erik Hobijn with Peter Giele and David Veldhoen. The same image was used for posters plastered throughout the city.
The zine includes an invitation for the Terrorist Congress and a Guerilla afterparty featuring bands such as Soviet Sex and Jesus and the Gospelfuckers, as well as a sketch for a watchtower with barbed wire to be erected in the center of the venue. The actual event on Dec. 20 lived up to SKG' s aspiration to throw a party 'beyond Punk', car wrecks blocked the entrance, the public was bombarded with noise and trash from the watchtower, the toilets were filled with elephant dung. Rare document of a legendary artistic-guerrilla action.
