An attractive copy, beautifully illustrated. Rare first and only French edition of the famous herbal by Dodonaeus, translated, revised and enlarged with a supplement by Carolus Clusius. This last addition, 'Petit Recueil', with an extra title page, is the first independent work by Clusius, the only work published by him in French, with notes on plants which he had observed in Southern France. - In good condition.
