From the library of the well-known British anthropologist, philanthropist and politician Emslie John Horniman (1863-1932), with his ex-libris on the inside of the front casing and extensive annotations in pencil on bottom endpapers. Cardboard on hinges split and corners worn, yet still a good copy.
