Hand-drawn title-page by Huib Luns, pencil, crayon, watercolour, heightened in gold. 12 leaves with signatures from friends and colleagues within dec. frame, incl. the signatures of Dr. Catharina van Tussenbroek, Esther de Boer-van Rijk Marcellus Emants, Marcellus Emants, and Frank Luns and many other actors, actresses, directors and playwrights. With programme booklet, newspaper clippings, and other ephemeral material related to the event mounted in the album, and with loosely inserted photograph of Sablairolles. Albumen print, 16 x 12 cm. In cord-bound full vellum, gilt lettering and silk endpapers, folio (48 x 32 cm).

Anna Sablairolles (1861-1945) was one of the most celebrated theatre actresses of her time. The album provides a fascinating insight in the Dutch world of theatre of the early 20th century.
