Stroux, J.M.E (Nettie) (1928-2015). Personal album "JME Stroux 1942-1953"
Very rich album w. ca. 240 photographs, a number of booklets, lvs. from her "Klassenschrift", clippings, official documents and diploma's, entry tickets and programs of theater-performances (incl. an early program of Wim Sonneveld) and festivals, business cards, etc., orig. rexine w. lettering on front and spine, at foot of spine her address ticket J.M.E. Blank-Stroux (Roelofarendsveen) and the number "10", folio (36.5 x 30 cm). Many photographs/ items loose(ning) and some missing. Amazing ego-document documenting the life of Nettie Stroux over the mentioned 10 years, starting with booklets from the Kweekschool St. Lucia in Rotterdam and many photographs concerning her schooltime there, her "Akte van Bekwaamheid als Onderwijzeres" awarded by St. Lucia 3 June 1948, photographs concerning the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945, photographs and documents concerning het time with the Girl Scouts, photographs of a holiday in the Vosges, document proving that she does not suffer from tuberculosis (14 March 1950), an illustrated list of "Reizen gemaakt tot en met 1950. Deze reizen staan in aparte Albums", photo's of her boyfriend and later fiancé Joseph Herman Paul Wijnands, their bethrothal (28-7-1953, "Zie verder apart album 1951-1954"), the marriage in Delft on 14-8-1953 and their honeymoon to Kufstein in Tirol ("Aug. 1953 zie aparte albums"). -and the equally rich and similarly sized rexine album w. the continuation of the adventures in Delft of Nettie Stroux', now together with Joseph Wijnands, up to 1968, numb. "11" on spine.
*On the website Oorlogsbronnen can be found that Nettie Stroux compiled an archive of the family Stroux van der Hoeven, 1745-2007, that she donated to the Gemeentearchief Schouwen-Duiveland. (total 2 albums)
