Portfolio with 265 photographs of exterior and interiors of architectural projects, late 1950s to early 1970s, var. sizes, mostly black and white but also incl. a few col. photographs, mostly mounted but partly loosely inserted in 3 rexine ringbinders of 4to size. A fine collection of professional photographs, showing buildings in Beerta (a.o. Buurthuis De Iemekörf, 1958 and Bejaardenpensiontehuis De Tjamme, 1967), Scheemda (gemeentelijk internaat De Randstede, 1961), Zuidlaren (Serviceflat Everswolde), Eelde (Kleuterschool De Korenbloem, 1957), Amsterdam (verpleeghuis Tabitha, 1972, a presentation booklet of the building is also present), Hilversum (Adventkerk, 1966-67), Haren (Ned. Geref. kerk De Hoeksteen, 1961) and many buildings we could not identify.
*Pieter van Loo established his office in Groningen, in 1937, and was later joined by Sikke van der Mei. They became succesful and influential architects after the war, known for their functional, modernist architecture. (total 265 photo's in 3 albums)
