[Colonial exposition 1931] Nederland te Parijs 1931.

Gedenkboek van de Nederlandsche deelneming aan de internationale koloniale tentoonstelling, samengesteld door Dr. H.H. Zeijstra Fzn. Den Haag, Vereeniging "Oost en West"/ W.P. van Stockum & Zoon, 1931, 152 p., many illustrations, original richly gilt cloth by Philip van Praag, folio.

The Dutch pavillion on the colonial exposition of 1931 in Paris was built after a magnificent design by architect W.J.G. Zweedijk. The building was a mixture of various Indonesian elements, which impressed the other participating countries and was a kind of showpiece of the exposition. 33 Million visitors saw the exposition in the summer of 1931! Additionally: a metal souvenir ash-tray embossed with the Zweedijk pavillion and a copper memorial coin with the pavillion on one side, and a woman's portrait with the side text "Oceanie" on the other. Added: memorial spoon 1945.
