With several pasted and loose newspaper clippings (one concerning a later edition of the directory), because of this occassionally browned (incl. title page). Very rare directory with a nice origin: on endpaper the contemporary note: "Lange Houtstraat. Wel Edel Geboren Heer Carel Jan Gijsbert Baron van Hardenbroeck van 's Heerenberg en Bergambacht Kamerheer des Konings". This original owner has added some improvements and additions in pen in the book; for his own entry (p. 48), for example, he struck through the address Voorhout 24 and made it Houtstraat. With: 6 later similar, including Officieel Adresboek van Voorburg (1922-1923) and 4 (telephone) directories of Wassenaar. (total 7).
