Notgeld

Album with over 400 bank notes, of which ca. 100 from 1923. The extreme inflation shows from the only leather note in the album: fünf millionen Mark from Pößneck, 11 Aug. 1923.

This album also contains several exceptionally lavishly illustrated silk notes from the city of Bielefeld. One of the notes contains texts about the perpetrator of this economic disaster: "Frankreich: Raubt, Mordet, Plündert - Herr wir loben dich wir preisen, holste's Stärke". "Im Ruhrkampf gegen Poincare hilft nur des Deutschen Tête Carrée (Dickkopf)"
