Toonder Studios, for the Swedish Market, edited from the original storyline in the Dutch Donald Duck in 1959. The Swedish Daily Dagens Nyheter showed interest in placing the Tom Puss series that ran in the Donald Duck during the Fifties. The Paper reserved a quarter of a page in the youth section of its Sunday edition for the comic. To not fall behind with the Donald Duck series the original pages (mostly 3) were remastered into one page. Because of this, parts were removed, redrawn and new plates were created. As a result the pages were "speeded up". The page offered here shows the dynamics that result from this procedure. The Swedish text was later inserted in Stockholm. This copy is still in Dutch.
