Johan Bickhoff (1881-1968)

25 original photographs taken during the 1903 railway strikes in Amsterdam. With photographs of the troops on horseback that were supposed to protect Amsterdam against the protesters, soldiers on the Dam, a man with a cart who is accompanied by an officer in the Raadhuisstraat, men in front of cigar shop at the Koningsplein etc. Photos are 9 x 13 cm. each.
