The brochure explains that the recently opened Studio '32 "zich ten doel stelt naast film-kunstwerken van buitenlandsche oorsprong, ook de producten van jonge Nederlandsche cineasten ter vertooning te brengen. Daarnaast is er een expositiehal waar de werken onzer vooruitstrevende jonge beeldende kunstenaars kunnen worden getoond". Abraham Tuschinski opened the avant-garde film study in Rotterdam in 1932. Films that were considered as superior by the Filmliga were shown here. In 1934 Paul Schuitema hosted an exhibition there with Opbouw.
