19th century. Lot of 60 engagement cards by Frisian couples from the second half of the 19th century. From Frisian villages such as Poppingawier, Gauw, Loënga, Terhorne etc.

*Special lot of "luxury" engagement cards, mostly gilded, perforated, or finely decorated. This was most likely reserved for only the more well-off families.
