Series of 7 anonymous handcoloured photographs with views of Nikko, Japan, each 21x27cm.: "A 26 View of (Oishinoma) from chapel inside (shinto) temple Nikko"; "F 122 Behind view of (Yomeimon) gate shito temple Nikko"; "C 58 The tea house at (Chuzenji) lake at Nikko"; "F 116 (Dainichido) on the way of (Chuzenji) Nikko"; "C 61 The (Chuzenji) lake at Nikko"; "C 64 (Kegon) waterfall at Nikko"; "D 97: View of Nikko". II. Series of 6 photographs concerning Ceylon with blind stamp "Apothecaries Co. Ltd. Photographers, Colombo, Ceylon", each 21x28cm.: a lively street; bird's eye view of Kandy; farmer plowing with waterbuffalos; banana salesman in front of his shop; barges on a canal; beach view with fishermen's boats. III. Series of 6 mountain views by S.J. Thompson, New Westminster, each 18x23cm: "766 Interior of snow shed, Selkirks, C.P.R."; "Cariboo Freight Waggons leaving Ashcroft 338" (zonder adres van Thompson); "Yale B.C. 300"; "At the base of the Great Glacier 377"; "From Great Glacier, showing Glacier House 761"; "Kickinghorse River near Field B.C. 388". Aside from these series one more picture is notable: "Chief "it-in-sa's" [?] house Masschtt.L.C.S." (picture of tourists next to a large wooden Indian home with enormous totem pole).
