Binding worn, cloth across boards tender and lacking on spine. Inside good. Rich and varied album with pen drawings, grisailles and watercolours, unfortunately without indication of artist(s), except for a note in pencil on inside front cover: "Geteekend door Paters der societeit van Jesu". Contains mostly landscapes and river views (e.g. an operating ferry) produced in the Netherlands, beautiful village and city views, sea views, castles and country mansions. With comparatively many beautiful winter views with ice skaters and refreshment stalls.
