[Signed copy] Handwritten dedication by Adolf Hitler to Julius Schreck

Schreck (1898-1936) was NSDAP-Mitsgliedernummer and SS Mitgliedsnummer 5. He was a private driver of Hitler's and was one of the eight members of the very first Stoβtrupp Hitler – the predecessor of the SS. From 1925 to 1926 he was the first SS-Oberleiter, a function that would later be rechristened to Reichsführer-SS. As ‘Vater der SS’ he was the predecessor of Heinrich Himmler.* (from an article by M.Steenbergen, Wereld in oorlog, 2014)
