Robbedoes Album 1 to 262

1939-2005. Bundlings of the first volume of Robbedoes Weekblad to the final volume 2005. Here, the first 7 issues are described. Volumes up to no. 100 are in varying conditions (sev. good, most fairly good or poor), the vols. after no. 100 are nearly all in very good condition.

Album 1: Tender along spine (still complete), tender at first and final page. First page with tear. Drawings coloured in pencil. Album 2: Front cover w. some stripes, first pages cut loose along side due to glue error, number 25 with 2 leafs cut loose and one with tear, still complete, final issue: front and back cover loose. Complete, but with here and there a tear and drawings coloured in pencil + Album 3: Block tender, drawings coloured in pencil, else good. Outside sl. soiled with some stains. Album 4: Several pages loose, but complete, shaky in binding (binding complete) and small chip in margin from no. 1. Signs of use such as the odd tear; Album 5: First issue (18) in loose pages, lacks first page, else bookblock tender (binding complete). Cover trifle worn and stained, fair copy; Album 6: Bookblock at endpaper reinforced along binding with some tape, cover bent (not entirely), sl. worn along corners, fairly good copy; Album 7: Bit shaky in binding, front cover light dampst. on right-hand side and worn along corners and edges. Fairly good copy. *Full series are rarely auctioned off all at once. This collection was gathered by Peter de Vos, who once picked up the largest part in Belgium in an overloaded car. It seemed fitting to us to have the collection change hands as a whole. (total 262)
