This manuscript was probably copied from the publication Instruction suivant la quelle les mouvemens des bataillons de l'infanterie seront exécutés (au pivot mouvant), avec quelques dispositions provisoires. A. d' Aubremé. 's Gravenhage [etc.] Van Cleef. 1819. It is unlikely, but not impossible, that this manuscript was the foundation for the French edition. Alexandre, Count of Aubremé, was the Dutch Minister of War, 1819-1826.
