Hermans. Letter in which a phone appointment for a meeting is made

One-sided typed letter (original from private archive) from W.F. Hermans (20 June 1955) in which he writes brieflty and somewhat grumpily when a meeting with him would or would not be convenient, "omdat ik mij zal moeten haasten de trein van kwart over zes te halen, waarna ik de Etna zal bestijgen." [...] "Hierbij sluit ik een klein boekje te Uwer stichting en zaligmaking."

+ copy of the same letter from Hermans to Vrijman + copy of a letter from Reve (7-4-1976), in which he bluntly states his opinion about both the Vijftigers and the Cobra group ("in het beste geval quasi-revolutionair, maar in werkelijkheid zeer kleinburgerlijke U.L.O.-literatuur" [...] "lege grootspraak, net zoals de parallelle schildersbeweging Cobra een ideeënloze, talentloze troep straatklodderaars.").
