Anonymous historical print of the fireworks display at Neude in Utrecht as commissioned by the students of Utrecht University in honour of the appointment of Prince William IV as Stadtholder of the Republic and his visit to the city of Utrecht on 27 July 1747. On the leaf below the plate, a description of the events in two columns. The leaf also depicts several unfortunate ladies, who suddenly find fireworks underneath their skirts. Added: a letterpress description belonging to another fireworks print, 1749, large folio. (total 2)
