Archive consisting of more than 90 items in handwriting or typed/ printed and partly in his own hand, dated 1905-1948, incl. as mayor of Palembang (1920-1929), consisting of appointment papers, notes, extracts, letters, etc., partly with envelopes, in modern binder.

This archive contains among other things 9 signed extracts from the Register der besluiten van den Gouverneur-Generaal van Nederlandsch Indië. Also noteworthy: (1) Appointment as superintendent of the Ombilinmijnen (1905) by the Minister of Colonies; (2) Appointment as Controleur van Timor en Onderhoorigheden bij het Binnenlandsch Bestuur (1912); (3) Documents of the Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij regarding delegation credits; (4) Documents concerning the (finances of) Vendukantoor Tandjoeng Pinang; (5) "Toelichting van den Burgemeester van Pelembang naar aanleiding van de klachten van de motie's van de gemeenteraadsleden de hh Amiabel en Manuel, ingediend tijdens de gemeenteraadsvergadering gehouden op donderdag den 22e December 1927" (handwritten explanation by Le Coq d'Armandville himself); (6) Lovely handwritten pieces in response to a disastrously handled order with Chinese Chinese furniture maker Weng Tay Long for 7000 (!) guilders, with all sorts of complaints and in the margin: "(...) na het gebeurde met uwen broer vertrouw ik die Chineezen voor geen cent meer. Het is een onbetrouwbaar volkje!"; (7) A secret emergency copy in response to the reassignment of Le Cocq d'Armandville, returning from leave abroad; (8) Correspondence concerning an book order with Mensing and Visser, of which one turned out to be unavailable (total more than 90).
