Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944). Three signed letters,

all undated (1x with date of arrival: 12-9-'89) and addressed to (cher) Monsieur, all in the form of a bifolium with 3 written pages, all 18 x 11.3 cm. (all with horizontal middle fold, one torn on vertical fold).

French composer and pianist, see: https://tinyurl.com/msk6ha8. One of the letters (with mourning border) discusses an article in a German magazine which she received a long time after it had been published, with only a short text (on her?) which was [underlined:] copied in all newspapers and magazines in Berlin. In another letter (with arrival date 11 September 1889), she mentions the "affreuse catastrophe d'Anvers", this concerns the Corvilain disaster of 6 September of that year (total 3).
