François Pierre Guillaume Guizot (1787-1874). Three signed letters,

dated 17 February 1845, Paris 30 April 1860 and "Lundi 24 - 82 1/4", one letter with preprinted head "Ministre des Affairs Étrangères. Cabinet", twice on the front of otherwise blank bifolia and once on a single sheet, 20.7 x 13.2 (2x) and 18.8 x 12.4 cm., inserted in wrapper with old auction strip concerning 2 of the 3 letters, pasted to the front.

The letters concern: a reply to an invitation to a dinner, a letter of thanks regarding the arrival of part of the "Mémoires et travaux de l'Académie Royale d'Amsterdam" and a letter on orders from Baron de Fagel which oblige him to depart at a certain time (total 3).
